forgetting the confused cycle of life
stuck in quiet introspection
beyond the sea beyond the sky
destroyed but not defeated
in a world torn by rife
remembering the long voyage
perplexed by the moment
beyond the boat beyond the shore
fallen but not ruined
on a beach without floatage
listening to the language of the sea
grounded in its stillness
beyond silence beyond death
wrecked but not broken
set down wanting to flee
